At the age of eighteen, Filth took up a job at a Chinese restaurant. He later chose his career in music over an internship at a newspaper,
although his "Dani's Inferno" column ran for two years in
Metal Hammer during the late 1990s.
Away from Cradle, Dani appeared on the
Roadrunner United CD in 2005 (contributing vocals to "Dawn of a Golden Age"), and his high profile has also led to a handful of film and television roles. In 2003 he provided the voice of the eponymous main character in the feature-length animation
Dominator.
He was ranked 95 in the Hit Parader's Top 100 Metal Vocalist of All Time.

#2. Dez Fafara
Bradley James 'Dez' Fafara (born May 12, 1966) is the current vocalist for
DevilDriver and the ex-vocalist of
Coal Chamber.
Dez's wife is named Anahstasia, and she appears on the cover of the second
Coal Chamber album
Chamber Music. Dez has three sons: Tyler, Simon and Kaleb. "Tyler's Song", from the album
Chamber Music, was written for Tyler. Simon, age twelve, added backing growls on
DevilDriver's third album,
The Last Kind Words (2007), on the song "Tirades Of Truth", during the last two lines of the chorus.

#3. Shagrath
Shagrath (born
Stian Tomt Thoresen on November 18, 1976) is a
Norwegian musician best known as the vocalist (and, as of 2009, keyboardist) of
Dimmu Borgir.
Shagrath is one of the founding members of Dimmu Borgir, along with
Silenoz and
Tjodalv. Shagrath's change from playing guitar to vocals is a part of what changed the band's sound. His contributions extend into the use of keyboards, bass guitar, and drums; as can be heard on
For All Tid. Since the departure of
Mustis in 2009, Shagrath has returned to the keyboards.
Shagrath also played guitar and drums in
Fimbulwinter until the band split up in 1994. Fimbulwinter released one album,
Servants of Sorcery, through Hot Records in the year of 1994. Shagrath also played keyboards in another Norwegian black metal band called
Ragnarok. Another unknown band was
Starkness, a solo project of Shagrath. He is also the rhythm guitarist of the
heavy metal band
Chrome Division.
Shagrath also sports extensive
tattoo work. This work includes the word Shagrath across his stomach, various arm tattoos which cover his arms as well as extend to his upper chest.
In late 2009, Shagrath joined forces with
King ov Hell (ex-bassist of
Gorgoroth) and formed the band
Ov Hell. In February of 2010 the band released their first album entitled "The Underworld Regime".

David Randall "Randy" Blythe (born on February 21, 1971) is the vocalist of American
heavy metal band
Lamb of God and side-project band Halo of Locusts. He is known as D. Randall Blythe on Lamb of God's albums.
Randy Blythe joined
Lamb of God (at the time known as Burn the Priest) in 1995. His vocal style consists of deep 'growled' vocals, shrill screams, and recently baritone singing.
Blythe was featured in many of his peers' DVDs, such as
Killswitch Engage's
(Set This) World Ablaze and
Machine Head's
Elegies. Randy was also featured in
Metal: A Headbanger's Journey,
Working Class Rock Star and
Melissa Cross's
The Zen of Screaming.

Corey Taylor, (born December 8, 1973 in
Des Moines, Iowa) sometimes known by his number

is an American
musician best known as the
lead vocalist and
songwriter of American
heavy metal bands
Slipknot and
Stone Sour.
[2] Taylor was raised by his single mother. He developed a fond feeling toward
classic rock after his grandmother introduced him to it. Taylor first met his father on March 28, 2005, and the two have developed a strong relationship. He currently has a wife, an ex-wife, and two children. By the release of Stone Sour's
Come What(ever) May, he was sober. On August 3, 2009 and July 29, 2010 he co-hosted the
Kerrang! Awards alongside
Scott Ian of
Anthrax and
The Damned Things. He has stated in numerous interviews that he loves
Gibson guitars
, and has recorded videos on behalf of the Gibson Association. When playing solo or with Stone Sour, he frequently uses Gibsons.
Corey Taylor is a founding member of Stone Sour, and has released three
studio albums with the band. Taylor joined Slipknot in 1997 to replace their original singer
Anders Colsefini. He has released four studio albums with the band. Taylor constantly alters between bands, as seen in 2001, after the release of
Iowa, where he rejoined Stone Sour immediately after touring. He has worked with several bands, including
Junk Beer Kidnap Band,
Apocalyptica,
Anthrax,
Soulfly, and
Avenged Sevenfold. Taylor writes and sings in styles that vary by genre. Slipknot
drummer Joey Jordison said that he has "really good melodic singing."
Taylor was ranked number 86 in
Hit Parader's
Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time.

Marilyn Manson (born
Brian Hugh Warner; January 5, 1969) is an American
musician and
artist known for his controversial stage persona and image as the lead singer of the
eponymous band,
Marilyn Manson. His
stage name was formed from the names of actress
Marilyn Monroe and convicted murder-planner
[1] Charles Manson.
He has a long legacy of being depicted in the media as a bad influence on children. The seemingly outrageous styles for which he models and the controversy surrounding his lyrics have led to his very pronounced public appeal.

Joseph Poole, better known as
Wednesday 13 (born August 12, 1976), is a rock musician from
Charlotte, North Carolina. He is most famous for his role as the frontman of the
Murderdolls. He has also played in several other bands, including
Frankenstein Drag Queens from Planet 13,
Wednesday 13,
Bourbon Crow and most recently
Gunfire 76. Poole currently resides in
Landis, North Carolina. Poole is a huge fan of campy
horror movie parodies and mildly macabre TV shows such as
The Munsters and
The Addams Family (the latter being the source of his "
Wednesday" moniker), which influence his
tongue-in-cheek lyrics. He also created a set of cartoon characters with his wife called the
Thirteen Dead Kids, which was released as a clothing line. A book was supposed to be released, though this was halted due to Poole's touring schedule and the lack of
publisher.

#9. Chester Bennington
Bennington became known as a vocalist with Linkin Park's debut album,
Hybrid Theory, in 2000, which was a massive commercial success. The album was certified
Diamond by the
RIAA in 2005, making it the best-selling debut album of the decade.
Linkin Park's following studio albums,
Meteora,
Minutes to Midnight, and
A Thousand Suns,released in 2003, 2007, and 2010 respectively, continued the band's success. Bennington formed his own band,
Dead by Sunrise as a side-project in 2005. The band's debut album,
Out of Ashes was released on October 13, 2009.
In 2007, Bennington was placed at #46 on
Hit Parader's list of "Heavy Metal's All-Time Top 100 Vocalists".

#10. Glen Benton
Glen Benton (born June 21, 1967) is an American
heavy metal musician best known as the vocalist and bassist for the
death metal band
Deicide, although he prefers not to use the 'death metal' terminology.
He is also the studio vocalist for
Vital Remains, and has performed live with them on a few occasions.Benton was raised in
Tampa, Florida where on July 21 1987, after guitarist
Brian Hoffman replied to Benton's advertisement in a local music magazine, Deicide was formed. Within days the band, consisting of Benton (bass/vocals), Hoffman, Hoffman's brother
Eric (guitars) and
Steve Asheim (drums), had named the band "Amon" after the
Egyptian deity of the
same name.
Within a month, Amon had recorded the crude
Feasting the Beast 8-track demo in Benton's garage and had started playing the occasional gig in the Tampa area.
In 1989, Amon recorded their second demo,
Sacrificial, at
Morrisound with producer
Scott Burns. Benton reportedly stormed into
Roadrunner Records'
A&R man
Monte Conners' office and presented him with the demo, saying, "Sign us, you fucking asshole!" The next day contracts were issued to the band.
Benton is known for his interest in
motorcycles,
which can be seen in the video for the title track from
Scars of the Crucifix. He also has two sons, Daemon Michael Benton and Vinnie Benton.
